my translation of this beautiful song:
Says that he knew about a road he thought that would bring pleasure and fun,but he was wrong,all those things lead to death not eternal life(something that is promised by God),he asks God to take him back,he wants to belong to God again,wants to be with God again,he was deceived by the road.he asks for forgiveness from God,he knew he’s wrong,he doesnt want to be left alone in that road,he wants to be a servant (Jesus teaches people to be a servant, to be humble)he wants to go back to the arm of God,the comfort place,that road that seems so beautiful,isnt that beautiful actually because he feels tired and weary walking on it and he doesnt find the point of even walking it,he thanks God because God took him away from that road to the righteous one.he knows that there is redemption when Jesus died for us all,and that is the forgiveness from God,God is waiting for him,and he is glad to go back,he is happy to be where he belongs.
